For 35 people, prices start at SEK 16,000. The Clarion Hotel Post will ensure that that your conference runs smoothly and hassle-free. We have a choice of 21 rooms, from small meeting rooms to what look like large auditoriums, and the hotel can accommodate up to 2000 guests at a time. The meeting rooms have free Wi-Fi, PC projectors, daylight/natural light and whiteboards. You can furnish the rooms as you like and there are different seating options depending on the room you choose.

Best way to end the conference is with your colleagues on a After Conference! On Thursdays we always have After Conference in our Postbar which is located next to the lobby. The music starts at 5 a’clock and the bar will be loaded with nice After Conference prices. We of course arrange After Conference on request every day of the week! Come by and end the working day with a nice evening in our newly renovated meeting place.

Drottningporten is Clarion Hotel Post’s largest venue and accommodates up to 1,000 guests in cinema style. This fantastic space can be used for presentations, stage performances and exhibitions.

BREVSORTERARSALEN
Brevsorterarsalen is a large conference room with room for up to 340 guests furnished in theater style. The room can be used for a variety of purposes, including networking events and presentations.

HOW IT USED TO BE
SO MUCH HISTORY IN THIS OLD BUILDING
Here in our beautiful old premises, crowds of people have crossed each other’s paths, laughed and certainly also experienced some romance. Before anything was built, the fortification wall that surrounded Gothenburg with one of the city’s five entrances, Drottningporten, was the crown jewel. In 1821 the gate was demolished and in 1855 the poor house Bracka opened its gates and became home to 1100 poor youths with its 128 rooms. In 1917, the house was leveled with the ground to leave room for the city’s new, grand Central Post Office, and in 2012 they became hotels. A long journey and an incredible amount of history in our beautiful house. And so the building was started out of what would become the largest post office in the Nordic region, which also became Sweden’s most expensive house building.
Curiosity: To overcome the Gothenburg clay, the construction workers had to drag 15 meters long piles to stabilize the foundation and 6128 spruce piles later the ground was strong enough for construction to begin
